Compersion

Keena and Josh have been married for 15 years and have two young girls. Then one day, they talk about and explore polyamory.

Polyamory is having intimate relationships with more than one partner, with all partners knowing about it. This is the opposite of monogamy, loving one person at a time.

The Adventures of Serena Berg

Here's a LGBTQ version of the classic Cyrano de Bergerac.  The story is reinterpreted and told in vlog style by young college students. Since it is a modern interpretation, the dialogue includes modern, casual conversation about things such as sexuality. Serena, the main character, is played by a transgender actress. All episodes captioned, plus the trailer.

Guess Who's Muslim

In this four-episode comedy web series (including a captioned trailer) a young man becomes Muslim. His parents think he is gay instead. They won't listen when he tries to tell them he is Muslim, not gay. Then the parents go overboard with the Muslim thing. Even though it is a comedy, the dialogue manages to include some positive commentary on what being Muslim is really about. There's also some not-so-subtle digs at a certain group, and at a certain actor from a popular 1980s comedy TV show.
