Chloe's ex-girlfriend Robyn is leaving for elsewhere for a week and has asked Chloe to come by and take care of the cat. While she's also spending time in town, she goes on dates with other women and meets Robyn's upstairs neighbor, Blake. Then she tells Blake that Robyn told her about him being trans. After a discussion on trans people, they date and have a relationship, much to the amazement of Robyn.

Here's a LGBTQ version of the classic Cyrano de Bergerac.  The story is reinterpreted and told in vlog style by young college students. Since it is a modern interpretation, the dialogue includes modern, casual conversation about things such as sexuality. Serena, the main character, is played by a transgender actress. Trans and queer women navigate the obstacles of who they are. Her Story centers around two trans women who have a chance encounter. Allie is a journalist for an LGBTQ magazine who interviews Violet and both hit it off.
