Magicland

A webseries based in Toledo, Ohio. Magicland is based on an old amusement park in the area. When Jake Skinkerelli's dad, Frank, dies, he takes over the amusement park's operations. He has to deal with the oddball employees, just as oddball park visitors, and the office culture.

Interestingly enough, this is a webseries that hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, though the producer is from Italy on a 6-month travel visa/permit. They're in a city known for Mardi Gras and its musical culture, returning from being devastated by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. They interview the various musicians and artists, and even take part in some parades, while immersing themselves in the city's culture and history.

Mission Backup Earth

 In the 23rd century, the earth is gone due to a cosmic catastrophe when the sun becomes a red giant. A red giant is a star that is dying, becoming many times larger and possibly engulfing other planets surrounding it. The surviving Earth inhabitants are out in space, searching for an inhabitable planet. This is their story in finding that planet.

Note that some of us may be familiar with the name David Prowse in Season 1, Episode 5. He played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars, though his voice was dubbed by another actor.
